Skyline Professional Learning, SY24

This PD is for 8th and 10th grade Social Science Teachers that are new to teaching the Reparations Won Curriculum. The PD is for two days, April 4th- April 5th.

During this PD we will review the history of the curriculum, experience best practices for facilitating the curriculum that infuse SEL and trauma-informed strategies, and have time for collaborative planning. The professional learning has supported teachers with facilitating this critical and difficult content. We highly recommend you attend if you have not been to a training before. We encourage teachers to invite their school counselor, co-teacher, or social worker to engage in the learning with them.

This session is designed to help you navigate the embedded-Skyline curriculum assessments from within Safari Montage- " navigating with a purpose" !  From planning for your unit by accessing the assessments, to administering, setting online tools for general education and DL/ELL students,  activating students for testing, and using the data reports to analyze student data to make informed instructional decisions.  **Please note: there is no payment/stipend for this session.

Prepare all students, including diverse learners and English language students, for success in discussions within the Skyline curriculum.
